When Stewie gets pricked by a splinter on the house stairs, Lois goes overboard and decides to get all new stairs. Problem is whenever Peter tries to walk down he ends up tumbling in the most violent way imaginable every time. Soon enough he gets so freaked out that he decides to just live in his bedroom forever.

Peter gets a new colleague at work who turns out to be a deaf chick. When Quagmire gets wind of this, he decides to have a “Disabled Ladies Night” at the bar, where Brian meets a blind girl named Kate. Most people might see this as a setback, however Brian takes advantage because as it turns out she hates dogs and well…you know. He of course takes it overboard, staging fist fights and trips to Paris, but shes none the wiser because of her handicap. Soon, Kate eventually starts to like Brian so much that she wants him to meet her parents forcing Brian to come clean.

First things first…am I crazy? I never noticed that the Griffins’ living room had a closed door leading into the kitchen? As a matter of fact I looked at past episodes and those all had just regular walkways, but for whatever reason there was a closed door instead. Weird…however this was the least of Family Guy’s worries as there weren’t a whole lot of laughs to be had here. The one cutaway that was great was when they took a shit on True Blood but that was it.
