The Belcher kids enjoy stopping by the local aquarium after school. Unfortunately, no one else really likes going. As a result, the aquarium is going to close. Louise comes up with an idea for the aquarium to declare itself a church in order to get tax-free status. They fill out all the forms online and think they are good to go. However, the IRS sends an agent to make sure everything is legit. The kids do everything to make the aquarium look like a real church. The one thing they didn’t think about was Roger, the IRS agent, actually liking the religion. When it finally comes to light that the aquarium isn’t a church, Roger admits that he just likes Judy, the aquarium lady. The kids get the two together and Roger gives Judy some ideas to keep the aquarium open.

Over at the restaurant, Bob is jealous that Linda has been getting more tips. She tries to give him some pointers on ways to be more personable around the customers but none of them work. Eventually, Linda just slips a ten-dollar bill onto a customer’s table to make Bob think that he got a great tip, giving him a self-esteem boost.

While I normally enjoy the antics of the Belcher kids, this one went a little too far. I think my biggest problem is that they knowingly attempted to commit tax fraud and there were no consequences. Judy doesn’t go to jail. The kids don’t even get in trouble with their parents. Heck, all of the adults actually go to a fake singles night to make the church look real. I liked how dedicated Tina was to keep her favorite place open but this was going a little too far.
