Carl’s rock and roll fantasy shirt contains a hidden danger.
Carl’s gotta new shirt which is great because I’m sure his white wife-beater smells like all sorts of ass. Anywho, its almost like a Hot Topic inspired get-up colored black and with dragons all over it. As such, Carl tells the story of where this shirt came from which apparently is some sort of self-aware volcano crafted by a bunch of dragons. Carl, being the ever-opportunist, climbs up the side of the volcano with his ‘steed’ and does battle with the treacherous beasts to claim said T-shirt.
Once back in normal-land, Carl is offering to give his hard-fought shirt to Shake only for him to fall into the same dreamworld Carl was in but not with the same bad ass result. Because of this, Shake tries to give his shirt back to Carl but no dice. Turns out, the shirt is fused to Shake and according to Frylock’s research he can’t be free of it so he just gets raped by an octopus.
Mastodon!!! That’s right, taking a page out of Brendon Small’s book, this week’s episode featured music by Queensryche, and guest voices from all of Mastodon, and Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age fame. The voices of Mastodon were funny as hell and I think they should come back as guest stars because they were so god damn good. Josh’s character was cool too but albeit rather random, but everything else was legit. Even with a plot that seemed a tad thrown together, who gives a shit? Mastodon was in it!!
