Ratings Are In 6/8/15: Golan down a tick

With the always exciting NBA Finals progressing nicely on the same night as the Tony’s, one could see why cartoons on FOX would meet a bunch of competition. According to a new ratings report from VarietyFOX’s only original premier, Golan the Insatiable, was down as compared to the show’s premier:

Fox aired repeats of “Bob’s Burgers” (0.4/2 in 18-49, 1.7 million viewers overall at 7, and 0.5/2 in 18-49, 1.5 million at 7:30), “The Simpsons” (0.8/3 in 18-49, 1.3 million viewers overall), and “Family Guy” (0.7/2 in 18-49, 1.2 million viewers overall). They were followed by an original episode of “Golan the Insatiable” (0.4/1 in 18-49, 1.2 million viewers overall), which was down 0.2 from last week’s premiere.

It’s going to take Golan the Insatiable time to build an audience due to the fact that FOX has done zero to know real marketing or advertising for the series. As a press outlet ourselves, we would be re-missed of our reading audience if we didn’t tell you guys that despite numerous requests, FOX has refused to give us the chance to talk to anyone involved with Golan the Insatiable, so if this show doesn’t get picked up, blame the FOX PR rep associated with this show, because he clearly doesn’t give a damn.
