Shorts Review: The Fuzz ‘Old and New Pals’

Episode 6 was a bit weirder. Sonny explained his evil plans to Jake, while Rainbow danced with Roxy. The two clearly have a thing going. This was confirmed later when the duo consumed both puppet drugs (jellybeans) and human drugs (cocaine) together, along with some suggestive physical contact. When Roxy said they are “just friends,” it triggered an interesting flashback from Rainbow’s childhood. Okay, Puppetman, you might have me hooked.
On the “good guy” side, the good guys were being kind of douchey. You see, in a classic police plotline, The Fuzz has presented the story in which hardworking, underappreciated, and underestimated cops are repeatedly scolded by their superiors and told to drop the case. But, you know, with puppets and stuff.
This episode was interesting and funny, with enough quality and novelty to keep most people hooked. Just like scoring some dope jellybeans.
