Oddities: Someone Bought A “Flintstones” Car ; LB James Harrison Loves “Family Guy”

Gotta love the fans!

Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar of Johor was given a car inspired by The Flintstones by Pahang’s Regent Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah. The engine-powered replica appears to really be a highly modified golf cart rather than a vehicle made out of boulders but it’s still pretty bad-ass looking and would be a great addition to any houses that kinda look like they are from The Flintstones. 

Actually, you know who would also love this car? New England Patriots Linebacker James Harrison who claims that he’s a way bigger fan of watching Adult Swim, American Dad, Family Guy, etc than watching his former team the Pittsburgh Steelers, play. Here’s an excerpt from Boston.com after the player was asked who he was gonna watch last weekend:

“I don’t even watch sports,” Harrison told reporters in the locker room. “I’m a cartoon guy. Ask me something about Cartoon Network, Adult Swim … Family Guy, American Dad, stuff like that.”

Maybe someone at FOX can get this interview and remember that next time they decide to schedule nearly three months in between new episode premieres of Family Guy like they are doing for the Winter 2018 season.
