Nobunagun English Cast Announced

I’m just saying, this show looks badass.

 

Funimation announced this past weekend that the English cast of Nobunagun has been announced, and gave us the official synopsis. Let’s take a look at who is playing who:

Sio – Jād Saxton

Nobunaga – Kent Williams

Jack –Jason Liebrecht

Gandhi – Christopher Bevins

Newton – Caitlin Glass

I took a look at the trailer, and Nobunagun looks like a fun anime. Giving a new twist on a bunch of historical figures like Ghandi and Isaac Newton seems like a blast. The only other hit anime that came across the ocean that dealt with history was Hitalia, and that anime makes my head hurt. When all else fails, why not put guns in the hands of kids who have the spirit of various figureheads of history, right? You know this is going to at least look pretty, because the studio behind Fairy Tail produced the series. Here’s the official synopsis below.
