Netflix’s “Big Mouth” to get Summer 2017 Bow? And what does this mean for BoJack Horseman??
Shut yo mouth!
Vanity Fair recently did a really nice interview with the great Nick Kroll who is right now heading up a sold-out Broadway show called Oh, Hello and in it the ‘Douche’ from Sausage Party let loose that his upcoming co-created animated series Big Mouth should drop in Summer 2017.
Inspired by the real-life teenage adventures of Nick Kroll (The Kroll Show) and Andrew Goldberg (Family Guy), Netflix has ordered 10 half-hour episodes of Big Mouth which is in the midst of being produced by Titmouse as we speak.
That said, usually it’s BoJack Horseman that drops new episodes in the Summer, so will Netflix drop TWO adult animated shows within the same Summer season? F is for Family is slated for a Q1 start, but if the last few years are any indication, Netflix may be premiering two shows almost next to each other. I’m fine with it, but you would think Netflix would set up some of these premieres similar to say the Marvel shows which are all spread a few months apart.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
