Howard Stern comes up with a great idea for a cartoon on yesterday’s show; plus Brickleberry S3 news

Yesterday, Howard Stern was talking a whole heck of a lot about the upcoming season of Comedy Central’s Brickleberry. Not only was it revealed that Eric the Actor had recorded his guest spot for an upcoming episode of Brickleberry and moreover that Howard is really looking forward to the premier and he hopes it does well. Eric’s episode is slated to air in January and that he did about 10 to 12 lines in the recording booth, so you figure that was about a half of a page worth of lines that Eric had to read which is a pretty decent guest spot. Popular call-in guest Gonzo would remark about how he thinks Brickleberry will be cancelled after this season, but if the ratings are anything like last season’s, then he’s going to be WAY off.

For those that don’t know, Brickleberry is co-created by former Stern Show personality and all-around friend of Bubbleblabber’s Roger Black aka Yucko the Clown. Howard Stern came up with the idea that not only should another popular Stern personality Wendy the Retard guest-star on Brickleberry (which would be an AWESOME idea), but that an animated series featuring Gary the Retard, Wendy the Retard, and Eric the Actor should be produced.

Granted, Howard said it in jest and he’s flirted with the notion of producing an animated series in the past, but this is one of the best ideas I’ve heard in a long time. An animated series with Gary, Wendy, AND Eric as the lead stars? I would watch that NOW. As a matter of fact, I think those guys should be on my proposed Brickleberry spin-off ‘‘Trailer Park”.

In any case, Brickleberry season three IS on the way and is scheduled to kick off September 16th on Comedy Central. Read our interview with producers Roger Black and Waco O’ Guin here.
