Geek & Sundry announces NEW series with Adam De La Pena

Just when we thought me may never find Adam De La Pena, he shows up at Comic Con to announce a new series he is developing for popular Youtube Net Geek and Sundry called Outlands. According to a press release, the new animated series is about a group of misfit soldiers that are sent to the far reaches of outer space to clear the outer planet of life forms to make room for the intergalactic convenience stores. Begins on August 8th!
This sounds great, and knowing Adam’s stellar work on past series like Code Monkeys and Your Dungeon, My Dragon, we can’t help but think this series has a lot of promise. Geek and Sundry from Felicia Day (Fish Hooks) is already a rather respected Youtube channel that already features the very Fetch Quest animated series so it’ll be interesting to see which way this goes. Also, does Outlands take the 8 and 16-bit routes of fast Adam shows or will it look like something else entirely? In any case, August 8th isn’t terribly far away so we won’t have long to find out.
