English Dub Review: Lastman “I Am The Passenger”

Who cares who sees anything?

Overview (Spoilers Below)

Some sort of a parasitic host is making its way up the ranks and it calls itself “The Passenger”. The Passenger eventually makes its way to Duke’s friend and she’s then taken to an arena by the Order of the Lion where Duke and Aldana can’t go after her though it appears that doesn’t matter anyway because the host had moved to a new body named “Steven” who is able to escape relatively unscathed. As Rich and Duke attempt to go after her, they are greeted by a new coach named Kriss who tells them that class starts in the morning.

Our Take

This week’s episode features more of that high-octane action you should expect from the series that includes both fighting, crazy shootouts, and high-speed car chases. The episode does a good job of reminding us about The Order of the Lion and I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of role Kriss will play in the lives of Duke/Aldana. This week’s episode moves by quick, but it sets the table for some short-term arcs that appear to come to play in the next couple of weeks.
