English Dub Review: Interviews with Monster Girls “Demi-chans Want to Try”
This show isn’t trying to keep me awake, that’s for sure.
Spoilers Below
We kick off the episode with Ugaki harassing Suki to make a move on Tetsuo, which she kinda does and it kinda works, but nothing really happens between the two. Later, Yuki heads to Tetsuo to learn how to control her ice powers so that she can cool down when it gets really hot in the summer, especially when the kids have gym class. After some trial and error, we learned that when Yuki puts her feet in an ice bucket, she can eventually turn it cool which is a big deal for the other demis. To help pass the time and get cool in the bio teacher’s A/C room, Kyoko tells a scary story that allows everyone to cool down just fine.
Our Take
Other than the montage at the get to, and maybe the slight lesson with Yuki concerning her powers, this week’s episode was pretty lame. No real moving parts and as such the show stares at the final third of its run with the potential of a screeching stop at “Boring-as-hell” station.
SCORE
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
