English Dub Review: Fuuka “Koyuki Hinashi”

Who doesn’t love the hot springs?

This week’s Fuuka kicks off with a flashback scene that showcases more of Hinashi and Yuu’s childhood friendship and the events sort of leading up to the mish-mash of emotions we have going on now. Hinashi heads over to Yuu’s house to invite him to her show in a month. From the looks of it, Yuu just wants to be friends but Hinashi wants something more. On her way home. Hinashi runs into and befriends Fuuka. The two take baths together and swap important info like Fuuka’s asking of Hinashi’s song-writing techniques while the professional singer further inquires about the upstart’s relationship with Yuu. Both seem to be satisfied about the information they have received, but could the social status of both Yuu and Hinashi be kicked into overdrive?

Our Take

Not a lot of progression on the band front this week, but nothing beats seeing two girls swimming naked in hot baths…well if only the content were a bit more R-rated…maybe that. The drama train’s about to hit, so we kids better watch out next week!
