Disney previews full synopsis for ‘Star vs the Forces of Evil’ sneak peek


On Sunday, January 18th, Disney Channel will be sneak peeking a brand-new series set to premier on Disney XD later on in the year entitled Star vs The Forces of Evil. We showed you guys the opening credits and clips from the premier episode, but just recently Disney had put out a press release detailing the actual synopsis of the first episode and you can read it below.

Star vs The Forces of Evil revolves around lead character ‘Star’ played by Eden Sher whom travels to Earth after many battles with monsters. While here, she rooms with the Diaz family and continues to battle monsters both at school and anywhere else. The series is being produced by Disney Television Animation and was created by Daron Nefcy.

Star vs. The Forces of Evil “Star Comes to Earth/Party With a Pony”
(9:00 PM – 9:30 PM ET/PT)
“Star Comes to Earth” – As tradition dictates, Star receives the royal magic wand for her
14th birthday, but her parents worry that she is not ready for the responsibility and send her to a
place they deem safe – Earth.
“Party With a Pony” – Star’s best friend from her home dimension pays a visit and feels
threatened by Star’s new friendship with Marco.
Voice cast includes Eden Sher (“The Middle”) as Star Butterfly; Adam McArthur (“Star Wars: The
Clone Wars”) as Marco Diaz; Alan Tudyk (“Suburgatory”) as Ludo and King Butterfly. Recurring
are Nia Vardalos (“My Big Fat Greek Wedding”) as Mrs. Diaz; Artt Butler (“Her”) as Mr. Diaz;
Nate Torrence (“Super Fun Night”) as Ferguson; Jenny Slate as Pony
Head; Dee Dee Rescher (“Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”) as Skullnick
