Comics Review: Spongebob Squarepants #52
Sandy decides against taking part in an invention contest with spongebob and Patrick and instead opts to go to Texas and leave the guys her nearly finished portalmachine. When she returns, she’s horrified to learn that bikini bottom is getting destroyed by monsters and Cotton candy tornados. Sandy also learns that the boys got the portal machine working and are in another dimension. She chases after them and drags them back to help clean their mess. With the help of her robot she cleans up the underwater town,but its Spongebob and Patrick that still win the award for their invention.
Our Take
With the exception of the other strips featuring fabulous aesthetics, really A New Dimension in Stupidity was the funniest. Anyone a fan of Sandy gets their money’s worth.
