Cars producer signs deal to potentially develop 20th Century FOX toons
Deadline.com is reporting that Dan Fogelman (Cars) has signed a new deal with 20th Century FOX that could potentially lead to a fruitful collaboration that would see Dan produce TV animated comedies.
This is great news because FOX can definitely use some new blood to help infuse some new content. That said, FOX needs a lot of work in helping promote new animated shows, because as of right now, Golan the Insatiable is leaving a lot to be desired in the marketing department.
As of right now, FOX has green-lit new seasons of Family Guy, The Simpsons, and Bob‘s Burgers all of which are set to premier this Fall. Starting in January, FOX’s newest collaboration with Seth MacFarlane Bordertown will premier which will finally fill the void left by the recently departed American Dad! which right now is kicking ass on TBS.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
