BubbleCAN Review: Knuckleheads “Soldiers of Misfortune”
This is for the soldiers!
Spoilers Below
General Hebert has ordered his troops to kill some terrorists, the first to do so will get a trip to Disney Land! Private Miller wants nothing to do with this battle but he reports for duty anyway.
Miller and his Sergeant Martin gets punished for dropping a port-a-potty on top of the General and is sent to an outpost far away from the General. Five months later, the two soldiers feel they’ve been forgotten and opt to walk back to their original posts. The journey is long and arduous, and even have their clothes stolen by people walking by. Fortunately, they find a small village and take a bunch of clothes from those guys. When the two run into their own soldiers, they are mistaken for terrorists and saved by the real thing. Miller and Martin run into the ‘Great Abdullah’ who gives the two shelter and a new plan…to turn against Hebert.
Abdullah comes up with a plan that involves the two “new guys” that would cause a bomb to explode on the army base. Fortunately, the Canadian soldiers are able to warn Hebert of the danger before it happens, but not before Martin sacrifices himself to save the General. Miller shoves the bomb up Abdullah’s ass which sends the terrorist flying right into his own base. Martin survives multiple gunshot wounds and both are given prestigious awards.
Our Take
This week’s episode offered up a thorough and well-thought out plot that pays off at the end complete with comical gags laden throughout the 22 minutes. Miller turning into a stoner was really funny, and I wish we could’ve spent more time with Hebert. And how many times can a dude stick a watch up his own ass? As a matter of fact, if you’re a fan of putting things up asses, this episode is your Christmas.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
