BUBBLECAN Review: Knuckle Heads “The End of the World Is Calling”

Captain Cooper and Dwayne are local airline pilots talking about the end of the world. To make sure mankind prevails, Cooper cums in a cup and brings it to a sperm bank to make a deposit. As the guys leave, Brad from the future shows up and tells Cooper just how important his sperm really is but the pilots don’t believe him. Brad tells us that smartphones grow arms, legs, and mouths, and pretty much Skynet the world’s biggest populations and Cooper’s relative is basically a doctor take on John Connor. Unfortunately, Dr. Cooper gets killed and Brad is here to get his sperm.

Before Brad is able to collect a specimen, one of the smartphones comes through a portal and chases the two pilots, both in DeLoreans. Just when it seems like the pilots are gonna get destroyed, the guys head through different time periods in Earth’s history where they come across the Native Americans and later a cave man and his family. The smartphone continues the attack regardless of the timeline leaving the pilots to have to take the cave man back to the future.

The pilots return to their normal timeline, but this time the smartphone army has mobilized and is threatening to destroy the pilots. Fortunately, the pilots were able to escape through a tunnel where they nearly get eaten by a huge rat when we find the few survivors that are left. Everyone head to Dr. Cooper’s machine to get rid of the phones, but we find out that the seed from earlier was actually Dwayne’s. That said, despite one last battle with the smartphone, Dwayne is able to rip off his nut and save the world. They drop off their cave man friend in his timeline.

Our Take

Fans of Terminator, Back to the Future, and maybe even Encino Man will find something to like in this week’s episode. I loved the invasion of the smartphones, but I was kind of hoping for a bigger battle than what we got. That said, we got a really comical route that should serve you some laughs.
