Not do my Cowboys get kicked out of the Playoffs last week, but it sets the table for a showdown between me and Carl where if Carl wins we have a tie record. If not, it will be hard to chase me as we head into the finish. Let’s see who Carl’s got in this week picks:

 

Indianapolis Colts

 

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Andrew Luck is a fantastic QB. The fact that he has managed to take this team on his back deep into the playoffs is nothing short of a miracle. Moreover, his passes are laser-guided focused. I mean, have you ever seen his throws in highlights? They have the prettiest arc of any QB in the league and he can probably throw the length of two football fields. Unfortunately, Herron doesn’t have me sold as a RB simply due to the fact that he keeps putting the ball on the ground, and this defense isn’t good enough to keep up with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick’s tricks.

New England Patriots:

We’ve seen it happen all to often before. Quite simply, when Tom and Bill get to this point, they just know how to win. I’m not sure if it’s trickery, I’m not sure if it’s experience, all I know is, this team looks poised to go the distance and that’s why they are my pick to win.
