Welp, we’re almost to the end and it’s been another season of my efficient armchair quarterbacking that has lead me to a hell of a record in picking winners. This week, Carl and I agree on who is going to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

Arizona Cardinals

I actually love the Carson Palmer story, and on paper, the two teams are pretty evened up everywhere on the field with the exception of QB. In terms of experience, you would want to tip the hat to Carson, but never in his career has he been in a game with the stakes this high. Fortunately, he has a fantastic defense, one so potent that I wanted to take the Cardinals this week. Unfortunately, I’m going with the team that is the heavy favorites and has home-field advantage.

Carolina Panthers

If it wasn’t for home field advantage, I would’ve taken the Cardinals. But, in an NFL season full of bull shit, I can’t help but if this game has been overshadowed already. Awful NFL referees, Deflategate, coach firings, movies about concussions, the whole bit. And through it all comes the rise of Cam Newton whom, with Aaron Rodgers, is set to lead the next generation of QB’s after the Mannings and Bradys go away. This season is career-defining.
