Adult Swim Announces Apollo Gauntlet Premiere Date/Time
This was going on while some other major international political conversation was going on.
While most of Planet Earth was beside themselves as Senator John McCain of Arizona tried desperately to hold in fecal matter to the point of prairie-dogging on live television, Adult Swim made an official monumental announcement of its own with fewer amounts of feces (or so we hope).
Adult Swim has officially announced the premiere date and time of Apollo Gauntlet, set to premiere on July 9th @ 1215 am ET/PT.

Trapped in another world, a cop from Earth can finally fight crime the way he wants after acquiring talking magical gauntlets. Apollo Gauntlet is an animated quarter-hour pilot created by Myles Langlois and produced by Six Point Harness.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
