Ratings Are In: Seth MacFarlane is EVERYWHERE!!!

Not saying that’s a bad thing, but on AniDom last night we pretty much had three-straight hours of Seth MacFarlane related content save for the episode of The Simpsons featuring Sigur Ros. All this Seth gave us mixed overnight ratings for FOX according to Deadline.com:

With a voice-over debut appearance by Seth MacFarlane, The Simpsons (2.1/6) ended its 24th season at 8:30 PM flat with last year’s finale. The first part of The Simpsons finale was an 8 PM (1.8/6) special that was down 10% from its May 12 show and down 14% from last year’s finale. Bringing its fourth season to an end, The Cleveland Show kicked off Fox’s animation block on Sunday at 7 PM (0.9/3) with a special followed by the finale at 7:30 PM (1.1/4) which was up 10 from last week. There was more MacFarlane on Fox last night as Family Guy wrapped up its 11th season with a 9 PM (2.6/7) show that was up a slight 5% from last week and even with last season finale on May 20, 2012. The special 9:30 PM (2.5/6) was up 4% from the May 12 show.

But, that’s it folks! The last new AniDom we will see until July 27th whence we will get to check out the all new ADHD lineup featuring Axe Cop. You can read all about the ADHD lineup in the slide show above as we have preview pics for just about all of the shows.

Phineas-and-Ferb-Season-3

Shark Tank celebrated its finale with a two hours block that was capped off with Dr. Doof from Phineas and Ferb throwing out a sales pitch to the sharks. According to Deadline.com:

Shark Tank was up 6% from last week’s show and up 19% from its Season 3 finale on May 18, 2012. The 9 PM Shark Tank finale was both the highest rated show of the night and the most watched with 6.57 million tuning in.

I’ll be honest, I thought the Doof appearance would’ve been a gamble, and alas it worked! What’s kind of interesting is that the Doof episode of Shark Tank aired at the same time as a new Phineas and Ferb as well as a new Fish Hooks over on Disney Channel, so P&F got double to exposure. Check in throughout the day as we continue to follow this story.
