IT’S WEBS DAY!!! With @Crunchlins, @Animeme and @Spazkidin3d!!!

crunchlins

There is no denying that hip hop has a huge influence on the New American culture. You can’t swing a dead cat without hitting a skateboarder wearing zebra print skinny jeans and a snapback hat that says #SWAG. Thankfully I know that most of this crap is just a passing fad much akin to bell bottom jeans and Limp Bizkit. But sadly I know that some of this crap is here to stay. And thanks to Drake, YOLO seems to be with us for the long haul. When deconstructed, “You Only Live Once” is only slightly more intelligent than its contraction. Hell, even deathcore band Suicide Silence wrote a song about it. But I really wouldn’t trust Mitch Lucker’s judgement when it comes to “living once.” So when I saw that Crunchlins put out a quick little ditty entitled “YOLO” I stopped and watched expecting another layer of train wreck on top of the already triple frosted death trap that is pop culture. But what I saw was roughly 20 seconds of animation that fully signifies how I feel when I hear someone say that putrid word. Clearly there’s not a lot of meat and potatoes to this video, what with it being so short, but it kinda reminds me of a slightly less refined Cyanide And Happiness. This video, albeit a blip in comparison to duration, has clearly put Crunchlins on the Webs Day radar. I’ll be expecting much more from you guys soon, let’s hope it’s a bit longer so I can bump up this score a but. Also,

yolo

animeme

Not only was the Dwight meme topical to the previous video, it’s a perfect segue into the next one!! Memes. If it wasn’t for these beautiful little internet gems I don’t think I’d have a Facebook. They’re everywhere. And unless you’ve specifically heard the person in the meme speak, your mind’s eye is able to wander and extrapolate what that person actually sounds like. And then along comes Animeme to do all that leg work for you. If you’ve got a keen eye, or you’ve been a fan of Webs Day since jump, you’ll know that this is Animeme’s second go round here. While Animeme has come a long way from their Mondo “Guest Pass” days in terms of content, the story is pretty much the same. Take meme. Animate the fuck out of it. Voice Over. Success. It’s really as simple as that, folks. So sit back and enjoy as 85% of your Facebook content comes to life right before your very eyes.

Up Next we’ve got a great video from Spazkidin3d. But its a bit NSFW. So maybe you send the kids to the other room. Make em play video games or something. I’ll wait.

Alright, who wants to lie straight to my face and say they haven’t wondered at least once what it would be like to have super powers. Which power would you choose? What would you use it for? Good or evil? Would you have a fucking cape?? All great questions I’m sure you’ve answered to yourself and your imagination. (For those curious…Telekinesis, mostly to force-choke myself while I wank/force-choke others while I saved cities, Good and Abso-fucking-lutely I would have a cape!) This video, however, breaks down the true mental status of most men when they find out they’re super human. Because let’s face it, if you’re a newly crowned super being, you’re gonna want to bang out some sluts. The art in this video is polorizing. It has flashes of both brilliance and simplicity that liken it to the style commonly seen on FOXADHD’s page. And I could honestly see something like this flourishing on a page like that, minus what could be the first silhouetted, animated nut shot in Webs Day history. (Start at 2:45 perverts. Be warned, it’s quick. just like me ::frowny face::) There’s something to be said about the quality of the voice acting in this show as well. Oh yeah, it’s also on the money……shot…….seriously, I couldn’t help myself with that one. Kudos to Spazkidin3d and his crew for making reviewing this video incredibly awkward at the dinner table! Splendid job!!!

Twitter? I got that. (@chefrichBB)

This concludes another fine episode of Webs Day. And now the real fun begins. Within this episode of Webs Day I’ve hidden an article from every writer who currently has something on site. We don’t have anything from Juvenile Troll just yet, so consider this your shout out dude. Welcome to the team! Now, can you find them all? And will you get all the silly reasons I linked them to those specific words? Will any of you actually give a shit?? Tune in next week when we answer all these questions and more!!

Until next week,

ChefRich
