Our Take

Picking up where the previous episode, Re: ZERO has finally reached its Season 4 finale! Subaru and his companions face their toughest challenges yet, while Emilia’s battle against Volcanica showcases her impressive growth. Meanwhile, Shaula’s emotional storyline reaches a heartbreaking turning point, setting the stage for an unforgettable conclusion.

The rest of the proceedings were absolutely epic, delivering breathtaking action, incredible animation, and plenty of emotional moments. The extended runtime made everything feel more impactful, giving the major battles and character interactions room to breathe without rushing through the experience. From the intense fight sequences to the heartfelt moments, it was a thrilling ride from beginning to end.

Overall, this was a fantastic season finale filled with emotional storytelling and exciting developments for the future. Although some questions remain unanswered, the episode leaves plenty to look forward to. I’ll certainly miss having new episodes to watch each week, and I can only hope we won’t have to wait too long for Season 5!
