Mark Wahlberg Hints at ‘Ted 3’ and Animated Sequel Series During Livestream with N3on
Mark Wahlberg has reignited hope for fans of Seth MacFarlane’s foul-mouthed teddy bear franchise, teasing the possibility of a third feature film alongside an upcoming animated sequel project.
During a recent livestream appearance on Kick/YouTube with streamer N3on—titled “N3on Survives Mark Wahlberg’s 4 AM Morning Routine”—the Oscar-nominated actor was directly asked if audiences would ever see Ted 3.
“We May Come Back With a Third”
When N3on pressed Wahlberg on whether a third entry in the hit live-action film franchise was on the horizon, Wahlberg dropped an intriguing update regarding the state of the property:
“You know what we are doing right now… we are doing the ‘Ted: The Animated Series.’ You know Seth MacFarlane does ‘Family Guy’ and all that stuff, he’s the creator of ‘Ted.’ So, we may come back with a third. Yes, we may come back.”

Wahlberg’s comments mark the first time in several years that the actor has publicly discussed returning for a theatrical Ted 3, over a decade after Ted 2 hit theaters in 2015.
