English Dub Review: Mistress Kanan Is Devilishly Easy “Kanan and Kyougi’s Trial of Love”

Kanan and Kyougi play beach volleyball to earn Beelzebub’s final stamp of approval.
Our Take(Spoilers):
To get Beelzebub’s stamp, Kanan and Kyougi will have to win a volleyball match. One thing I haven’t talked about much is the occasional fourth-wall breaks in this series. They’re few and far between, but when they happen, they’re usually pretty funny. For example, during the volleyball match, Beelzebub isn’t going to compete because “the viewers don’t want to see a guy jumping around in a swimsuit.” Kanan then does her best Jim from The Office impression and looks at the camera and asks, “What viewers?”
We learned why Beelzebub looks the way he does now, and somehow it managed to raise more questions from my perspective. It turns out that the big form with the teddy bear mask we are currently seeing is a costume he wears. He still looks like a young kid, as we saw in Lilim’s flashback to when they met. But it poses the question, why does he wear the costume? If I had to guess, it has something to do with Lilim’s aversion to men. Maybe we’ll find out in the second season. Which if I forgot to mention it, this show will have a second season! I’da rather more of this than more Rent-a-Girlfriend.
As for the volleyball match, as you might have guessed, Kanan and Kyougi won. The reason the won was mostly because everyone they were facing was so perverted they forgot to play the game. Miel got knocked out because she thought about Kyougi cucking her, then Milch cucking Kanan, then she swoops in to steal Kyougi completing her cuckception cuck circle. Her words not mine.
Milch took over for Miel after she took a spiked ball to the face. But they eventually lost because Milch was more focused on getting Kyougi to notice her than she was on playing the game. She even tried to distract Kyougi by messing with Lilim’s swimsuit so her boobs popped out. This distracted Lilim more so it was another thing that led to their defeat.
This show got progressively more horny as it went on. But somehow showed way less in twelve episodes than a show like Yowayowa Sensei has in only two episodes. Having said that, I enjoyed this show a lot more than I thought I would but one thing confused me. In a post credits scene Kyougi asks Kanan if she’s still cosplaying as a devil. He spent an entire week in hell and thinks she’s cosplaying? Maybe I missed something but that was weird to me. More to come in the season review.
