English Dub Review: The Klutzy Class Monitor and the Girl with the Short Skirt “The Older Gal Who’s Close to the Klutz/The Student Council of the Klutz’s School”

A mysterious, sexy gal appears—gets a pass from Togo—and the student council raises disaster relief.

Our Take(Spoilers):

I happened to be paying attention to the opening today, and I saw two characters we haven’t been introduced to yet. Suffice it to say that we got to meet them today, and the student council president was the “mysterious sexy gal.” She had heard that there were a lot of girls (Poem included) that have been wanting to wear their skirts shorter. She wanted to try to understand why, so she dressed wildly different from usual.

I’m still more invested in the relationship between Poem and Sakuradaimon, but the student council president and vice president seem like an interesting pairing as well. Yamato is the council president, and Kogori is the vice president. Kogori is a part of a rich family, and while the student council is raising money for disaster relief, he and Yamato compete to see who can raise more money.

Kogori seems like he’ll be an interesting character because instead of taking the easy way out and putting money he hadn’t earned in, he went out and worked for money. He showed that while he might be ignorant of the ways poor people operate, he’s at least willing to learn.
