English Dub Review: The Daily Life of the Immortal King “Siblings Alliance”

Wang Ling finally faces Bai Zhe, accompanied by his powerful and charming little sister.

Our Take(Spoilers):

I’ve seen some people who aren’t a fan of the addition of Wang Ling’s sister. If this show was trying to take itself seriously and have actual stakes, then I’d agree. Wang Nuan is one of the best things this show has added in a while, in my opinion. I kind of wish she weren’t as overpowered as Wang Ling is, but that’s mainly because it makes me ask other questions. I thought that Wang Ling’s parents just happened to get lucky, and a powerful deity or something decided to reincarnate as their son. If their daughter is also super powerful, then that means something must be going on in their blood. I wonder if that will ever be answered or if it’s played up for laughs.

Wang Nuan isn’t only powerful, but apparently, she can already talk. She sees all of Bai Zhe’s sad backstory, and instead of feeling bad for him, she beats the crap out of him. She tells him that he should have handled things a whole lot better. I don’t know what would be worse, getting beaten up by a three-month-old infant or being talked down to by one.
