English Dub Review: The Daily Life of the Immortal King “Heavenly Dao’s Secret”

Overview:

Wang Nuan doesn’t want to be separated from her brother, so Wang Ling is forced to take her to school.

Our Take(Spoilers):

I understand that Wang Nuan is only going to school because she doesn’t want to be separated from Wang Ling. But still, it’s pretty funny to see how two of the head teachers react because she’s so cute. Wang Nuan even got her own uniform that she gets to wear. To be fair, I would have a hard time saying no to her as well.

Maybe Wang Nuan adds just enough chaos to things that it will be difficult for Wang Ling to always win. While taking a test using sword chi, Wang Nuan used her powers, and they almost destroyed the school. Meanwhile, our new villain was on the moon in the clutches of the Heavenly Dao. When Wang Ling tried to stop his sister’s power, it was so strong that all he could do was redirect it. It went all the way to the moon and sliced off the hand of the Heavenly Dao, releasing the bad guy. This was actually the first time I can recall that something went against Wang Ling. Usually, he succeeds, even if it’s by accident sometimes. But in this case, he might have made the situation worse for himself.
