Netflix Orders New Adult Animated Comedy ‘Dang!’ From ‘The Good Place’ Writing Duo
Netflix is continuing its aggressive expansion into the adult animation space, officially greenlighting Dang!, a new series from executive producers Josh Siegal and Dylan Morgan. The duo, widely recognized for their work on the critically acclaimed and philosophically dense NBC hit The Good Place, is expected to bring a similar level of “high-concept absurdism” and “immaculate dialogue” to this new animated venture. Here is the logline:
Logline: DANG! follows a brother and sister duo whose fun, messy lives in New York City are interrupted when their worst nightmare comes true: their high-achieving older sister shows up and wants to hang out with them.
Mike Schur, the visionary behind The Good Place, Parks and Recreation, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, is making his first major foray into the adult animated space alongside Andrew Law, a veteran writer and producer whose credits include The Good Place, Dave, and The Good Fight. Produced by Universal TV and executive produced by Schur, Law, and Morgan Sackett, the series will be produced by Titmouse and feature Law, Stephanie Hsu and Poppy Liu as part of the voice cast.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
