English Dub Review: My Hero Academia: Vigilantes “Episode 7”
Overview:
Aizawa continues to learn what he will need to know to become the hero we deserve. Trust in his friends goes a long way.
Our Take(Spoilers):
I’m not sure what is going on with Crunchyroll this week regarding the episode titles. Most of my reviews this week didn’t have titles. I only bring this up because Crunchyroll has been severely dropping the ball on the technical side of things. It’s not a good look for a platform that has most of the anime in the west and recently got rid of their free version while raising their prices.
I don’t like having to talk about stuff like this, but unfortunately, it causes issues for their shows. Luckily, that was not the case for this one, other than the episode title. This episode was a lot of fun because we are still on the Aizawa backstory journey. Shirakumo helps him out by loaning him some goggles, and as we know, that becomes one of his calling cards. The goggles make it so he can protect his eyes from certain villains while also never letting them see his eyes to know if he’s disabled their quirk or not.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
