English Dub Review: Dark Moon: The Blood Altar “Old Moon – Vampire Lord”
Overview (Spoilers Below):
The day of the nightball game arrives. As an intense game plays out, a shadow sneaks up on Sooha.
Our Take:
Things are already working out between Sooha and her new vampiric friends, but that doesn’t mean their story is finished. There are still some loose ends to tie up before the season ends, including the mysterious vampire attacking Sooha and, of course, the nightball showdown between Decelis Academy and Sunshine City School. For the latter, it seemed like this thrilling sport would be a filler episode packed with some drama between the vampires and werewolves. While that’s the case in the episode’s first half, the second half is where things start to unravel further.
The mysterious woman who’s visiting the academy turns out to be Marge, the caretaker who shares a history with Heli and the others. Though they’re not exactly on good terms, they’re going to have to put aside their differences to save Sooha from the vampire impersonating Chris, later revealed to be Dardan, the First Vampire. To make the truth even more surprising, it’s also revealed that Deli and his allies are actually Vampire Lords of the Vergr Kingdom, with Sooha being related to the princess they swore to protect years ago. Unsurprisingly, that also means that Dardan wants to assume untold power to rule the world, particularly Selen’s power gained from the Wolf God.
“Old Moon – Vampire Lord” shows that we’re not dealing with just high school drama. The series also underscores a Shakespearean-style history that ties Sooha and her new friends together in the present. However, it also means it’ll further complicate things between Sooha and Kahn. It’s certainly a lot to take in in just one episode regarding the history behind these “Vampire Lords”. However its intriguing reveal behind the vampire boys’ origin further highlights the show’s refreshing twist on the usual high-school romance dilemma.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
