English Dub Review: With You, Our Love Will Make It Through “Episode 9”

Overview:

Mari has doubts that she’s attractive, and someone from the school paper wants to interview Tsunagu.

Our Take:

It’s been a while since we’ve had an episode of this show due to the holidays, but I’m optimistic about the direction it’s going. I’m still not a fan of the love quadrangle we’re in, but at least everyone seems to be getting along now. Kisara abducts Mari to go shopping, and she seems to have taken a liking to Mari now. Maybe it’s because she can tell that Mari’s feelings are genuine, but Mari is more worried that Tsunagu doesn’t think she’s attractive.

When the person you’re in love with is a beastperson and can smell out emotions, I can understand why Mari might be worried about that. Luckily, Kisara can also smell emotions and reassures Mari that Tsunagu is head over heels in love with her. I still want Yukihiro and Kisara to meet because I think they might push that as another love story. I would like to see something move progressively soon because it feels like we’ve been treading water for a while now, at least as far as the plot is concerned. Ultimately, I’m glad that we’re back with this show.
