English Dub Review: Dusk Beyond the End of the World ” Dancing with You Under the Rainy Summer Sky”
Overview:
Despite Yugure’s protests, Akira can’t leave Amoru in the hands of OWEL. But a high-stakes rescue is the least of their troubles.
Our Take(Spoilers):
We were spared from another betrayal for one episode at least. They rescued Amoru, and now it seems like she might be in love with Akira, too. She suggested forming an LC with Akira and Yugure. In case I hadn’t mentioned it before, an LC is like a marriage in this world, but it doesn’t have to be between only two people; it can be multiple. Akira is still in love with Towasa, which I understand, but I don’t know why he seems to think she’s still alive and out there. Sure, he survived, but based on how people treat him, I think that’s pretty rare.
There is a local crime family, the Lontanos, and two of the children of the family are vying to be the next head. One of these children is named Fides (pronounced Fetus), which is a weird name, but she needs to find an LC partner before her brother if she wants to inherit the family… for some reason.
A big matchmaking festival is being held, so Fides and her brother Kalcrom go to try and find a partner. Unfortunately, Fides is in love with Kalcrom, which isn’t surprising for an anime, but it is in the sense that I’m pretty sure they’re actually related, so it’s full-on incest. In an unsurprising twist, Akira bumps into Fides, who offers an LC to him, and Kalcrom proposes an LC to a drunk Yugure. I’m looking forward to seeing where this mini-arc goes.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
