English Dub Review: Dusk Beyond the End of the World “A Game of Lime and Allegiance”
Overview:
Akira and Yugure are drawn into a double date as well as family baggage.
Our Take(Spoilers):
What do this show and A Game of Thrones have in common? A surprising amount of incest, one way or another. Since Akira grew up in a sibling-like relationship with Towasa, he can understand being in love with someone in that sort of situation. You can see that he starts to feel bad for Fides and Kalcrom, and he wants them to be free to be with each other. With it being a far-flung future where androids exist, I suppose it wouldn’t be the worst thing, but maybe they should talk about it?
Interesting relationship dynamics aside, I am still enjoying this show. It was interesting that Yugure isn’t “drunk” but toggling her inhibitor function off. That’s bad news for the mafioso’s who are pointing guns at her. I’m so excited to see her carve her way through them in the next episode. At least I hope that’s what happens. I also hope that Fides and Kalcrom get a happy ending. Makes deciding who runs the company easy, right? But their dad seems like an asshole, so I won’t hold my breath.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
