English Dub Review: A Misanthrope Teaches a Class for Demi-Humans “The Misanthrope and the Fateful Classroom”
Overview:
Rei Hitoma accepts a teaching job, only to learn that his students are demi-humans aiming to become human.
Our Take:
With all the news today, and well… every day it seems lately, I can see why Rei Hitoma doesn’t want to work with humans and thinks they’re awful. He wanted to get away from any teaching jobs due to some trauma he experienced in his last job. Since he hasn’t worked in almost two years, I have to think it was something bad. I’m looking forward to finding out what it is, and I hope it’s not something lame.
There have been a few shows that follow this same type of plot, where a human teaches monsters or demi-humans. My only hope is that we don’t get a troublesome romantic plot. He’s teaching all girls, so I imagine that some of his students will end up with a crush on him, but I hope that it doesn’t go anywhere. If you know me, you might think that’s weird because I love romance, and if he gets involved with another teacher, I would enjoy that. But as it stands right now, I hope he helps these girls, and in turn, they help him heal his trauma.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
