Our Take
That’s a wrap on the third season of Mike Judge’s Beavis and Butt-Head and I thought it was an interesting choice that the show opted to go with Old and Smart B&B for the final episode. As of this writing the future of the series hasn’t been publicly announced so who knows what is coming down the pike with this one. If this season finale is any indication, it seems as though the producers kind of gave us two goodbye episodes but with Paramount now having new owners, anything is possible.
We’ll get into more in depth about the future of the series in our season review but this week get ready for some fun times with a blast to the past of Beavis bringing back his infamous cornholio character that once again terrorizes the authorities. We also got a bit of a reunion with a Lawndale High grad that is just as silly as ever and will having you beg for that series’ return.
The cutaways weren’t much to really sink your teeth into, but overall a fine farewell for our fearless leaders.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
