A Historic Milestone for The Simpsons

The biggest news coming out of the winter preview is the monumental achievement of The Simpsons, which is set to air its 800th episode this winter. Celebrating nearly four decades of cultural dominance, FOX is planning a major event to join Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie for this history-making moment.

American Dad! Returns Home

Fans of the Smith family have reason to celebrate, as the fan-favorite series American Dad! officially returns to the FOX lineup this winter.

The series will take its place in the Sunday night block, sandwiched between two all-new episodes of Family Guy. The preview teased the return of Stan’s high-stakes antics and Roger’s endless array of personas, with Stan jokingly questioning why he “gathered everyone here” in a classic self-aware nod.

Double the Family Guy, More Universal Basic Guys

The “Animation Domination” block is being bolstered by a double dose of Family Guy, ensuring that the Griffin family remains a cornerstone of the night.

Additionally, FOX is doubling down on its newest hit, Universal Basic Guys. Following a successful launch, the show—which follows two brothers navigating a world of automated labor and free money—will return with more “universally loved” episodes to kick off the new year.

The Animation Domination block remains the only night of the week dedicated entirely to adult animation, and with 800 episodes of The Simpsons in the rearview mirror, FOX shows no signs of slowing down. As Homer Simpson himself might say: Woohoo!
