English Dub Review: Tales of Wedding Rings “Episode 17”
Overview (Spoilers Below):
Hime strengthens the bonds between the Ring Princesses, allowing them to escape the Library and head to the Empire.
Our Take:
Hime has been known for being overly cautious whenever she sees Satou with the other princesses, sexual or otherwise, especially in the first season. Fortunately, the show’s second season showcases Hime growing through her selflessness, allowing the princesses to bond with Satou without her standing in their way. Fortunately for them, the princesses’ agreement was enough for Satou to gain the power needed to finally escape the Library. This signifies that Satou’s power didn’t just come from the princesses through their affection for the Ring King but also from the strength of the bond between the ring ladies. You know, the typical “friendship equals power” element we usually see in other action anime.
Afterwards, the gang encounters another problem that could’ve been easily solved, but someone decided to drag it out for reasons. This time, they have to convince the Emperor of Satou’s worth to wield the Ring King’s sword due to him seeing the new Ring King as “false hope”. Though the Empire is well-equipped with enough knights to hold off the Abyss army, it’s evident that it won’t be enough to overcome this dangerous threat. So, it looks like we’ll be enduring another roadblock while Hime, Morion, Nefrites, and Granart head off to do some magic training. Although it does reunite the crew with Marse and Saphira from season one, the episode shows signs that the season is adopting a structure similar to their stay at the Library.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
