English Dub Review: My Hero Academia “Wrench It Open, Izuku Midoriya!!”
Overview:
Izuku attempts to forcefully transfer One For All to Shigaraki, as this might prove to be the key to victory.
Our Take(Spoilers):
I hadn’t paid attention to the imagery going on in the ED. I’d listened to it, sure, who doesn’t like Bump of Chicken? Yes, that is the band’s name. But I hadn’t WATCHED it before today, and let me tell you, it brought tears to my eyes. I can’t say I’ve been with My Hero Academia since the beginning, but it’s damn close. When I started watching it only had two seasons and roughly thirty-eight episodes, but now there are one hundred and sixty-five episodes. The reason I bring that up is that it follows Deku’s journey from the beginning to now, and it makes you think about how far he and the series have come.
That leads me to the current plan to defeat Shigaraki. By forcing him to absorb One for All, they think it will defeat him. This was hard to follow in the manga as well, and I was hoping that the anime would make it a bit easier to understand. Unfortunately, it doesn’t, and I have to ask, why didn’t they let Shigaraki take it when he was trying to earlier? It seems like there’s a part of the plan I’m missing, or it’s being kept from us, the viewers, on purpose, and that’s not good either. This episode left me a bit torn.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
