English Dub Review: Bad Girl “ADC Committee Assemble! / The Secret Classroom / A Rendez-vous with Rura Ruriha”

Overview:

Yuu is once again stalking Atori. She finds what she believes is a holy revelation from Atori left on a whiteboard.

Our Take:

The name of this show should probably be Bad Stalker instead of Bad Girl, but I understand the reasoning behind it. Almost every episode, Yuu is stalking Atori, and every time she’s doing it about as poorly as you can. I don’t think there’s been a time when she wasn’t found out by someone. This leads me to what seems to be the main through line of every character in the series, and no, it’s not Atori like we’re led to believe.

The character that everyone has some sort of relation to is none other than Yuu. Atori thinks she’s a cute pet type, Suzu is her best friend, but also might have a crush on her, and Rura is upset that Yuu is the only person in school who doesn’t think she’s the school idol. This show isn’t doing anything new or special, but to be fair, it doesn’t claim to either. It’s a fun comedy that makes you laugh because of how ridiculous some of these people act. Yuu having a meeting with grade schoolers about Atori is one of the funniest things that springs to mind.
