Blades, Bolters, and Berzerkers: New Warhammer Animation Trailer Teases Epic Battles on Warhammer+

The Warhammer Community has dropped a thrilling new trailer, straight from the World Championships Preview, showcasing a host of upcoming animated content for the Warhammer+ streaming service. The preview offered a look at both new shows and updates on ongoing series, promising subscribers a year filled with visceral combat and deep-lore exploration across both the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar settings.

Warhammer 40,000 Highlights

The trailer confirmed that several highly anticipated animated projects are in the works, featuring some of the Imperium’s most zealous warriors and their most brutal foes:

  • Sisters of Battle in Action: Fans were treated to intense clips featuring the Adepta Sororitas (Sisters of Battle). Notably, these aren’t the units seen in previous animations; they belong to the Order of the Sacred Rose, distinguished by their alabaster-white power armor and rose iconography. The trailer showed them engaging in close-quarters combat with an Ork and an imposing Battle Sister unleashing a heavy bolter barrage.
  • Aeldari vs. Imperial Navy: The agile and warlike Aeldari (Eldar) are set to take center stage, specifically the Saim-Hann Craftworld. The footage teased explosive aerial battles as the Saim-Hann forces clash with the Imperial Navy.
  • World Eaters Rampage: For fans of Chaos, the trailer delivered a terrifying glimpse of a Khorne Berzerker from the World Eaters Traitor Legion, confirming that the bloodthirsty followers of the Chaos God Khorne will be hunting skulls in the upcoming animations.

Age of Sigmar‘s Dark Finale

The trailer was not solely focused on the 41st Millennium. It also provided a glimpse of the dramatic conclusion to the current season of the Age of Sigmar series, Blacktalon. The sinister Greater Daemon Be’lakor is confirmed to be returning, undoubtedly stirring up new mischief while the team, led by Neave Blacktalon, is fractured and the city of Hammerhal remains under threat.

All of the animated series previewed will be available exclusively on Warhammer TV over the coming year for Warhammer+ subscribers.
