Tubi’s Adult Animated Comedy “Breaking Bear” Launches Merchandise By CultureFly
Tubi is teaming up with CultureFly to launch a brand new merchandise program for its star-studded adult animated comedy, BREAKING BEAR, created by Julien Nitzberg (The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia) and produced by Evoke Entertainment (Creepshow, Twelve Forever, and Day of the Dead) and Tom DeLonge’s To The Stars Media (Monsters of California, Unidentified). Starring series regulars – OscarⓇ Winner Brendan Fraser (The Whale), EMMYⓇ Winner Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), EMMYⓇ Winner Annie Murphy (Schitt’s Creek) with Elizabeth Hurley (The Royals) and TonyⓇ Nominee Josh Gad (Frozen), BREAKING BEAR parodies the tropes of mobster dramas, comically combining elements of characters like Yogi Bear with series like The Sopranos.
Under this new partnership, CultureFly will distribute a full range of licensed products, including plush, collectibles, accessories, and more, across major retail and digital platforms in late 2026. As part of the agreement, CultureFly will also manage the “Breaking Bear” dedicated DTC storefront. Products will be available online and at leading retailers, including Five Below, Walmart, Target, and others. The merchandising deal was brokered by Striker Entertainment. Tubi will share more information about this collaboration at their BREAKING BEAR panel at New York Comic Con, Saturday October 11th.
“The CultureFly team is extremely excited about this partnership,” said Eddie Erani, Co-Founder and CEO of CultureFly. “The content looks incredible, and we can’t wait to bring the characters to life through plush and collectibles.”
“BREAKING BEAR is one of the most delightfully unhinged comedies we’ve ever dreamed up at Tubi, and we can’t wait for fans to dive into its chaotic, hilarious world,” said Adam Lewinson, Chief Content Officer at Tubi. “Our partnership with CultureFly lets that world spill off the screen — turning the adult-animated show’s wild energy and outrageous characters into must-have collectibles that fans are going to love.”
“We are so excited to partner with Culturefly to help bring our Breaking Bear universe to life via merchandise,” said Evoke CEO Stan Spry. “I’ve seen some of the prototypes and they have done an incredible job capturing the fun and insanity that is Breaking Bear.”
BREAKING BEAR is a fur-flying, law-breaking, forest-saving rampage following a dysfunctional family of bears who go full criminal to stop frackers, mobsters, and a psychotic wolf pack from destroying their home. As they spiral deeper into the criminal abyss, they face off against biker gangs, an egomaniacal news anchor, and their own spectacular talent for self-sabotage.
BREAKING BEAR is executive produced by Tom DeLonge (“Poet Anderson: The Dream Walker”), Stan Spry (Creepshow, Day of the Dead) and Jeff Holland (Creepshow, Day of the Dead). Brendan Fraser, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Josh Gad are also executive producers with Julien Nitzberg, who also serves as showrunner.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
