English Dub Review: Tougen Anki “Personal Rule”

Overview:

Momotaro’s surveillance network detects what happened in the city center and responds immediately.

Our Take:

All of the Momotaro abilities we’ve encountered thus far seem to use the bacteria of the user to work. In the case of Momoiwa, if someone comes into contact with his bacteria, then he can see through their eyes. He can do this with up to thirty-six people, which seems like a pretty overpowered ability. But when Jin uses his powers to rescue two kids, it comes in handy to track him down. Now they are using Jin to try and locate Shiki because he’s the main one they’re after. I like how Momodera thinks because he says as long as an Oni isn’t hurting people, he’s not going to bother with hurting them, especially if they’re helping people.

I don’t know where this is going to go, but we learned that Jin has some trauma relating to his sister, I’m guessing. She was killed, from what I can tell, and he feels like it’s his fault for some reason. Jin has been cold and mean to everyone, especially Shiki, and I have a feeling that it has something to do with his sister.
