D’oh! Major Leak Suggests The Simpsons is Taking Over Fortnite in November with a Full Springfield Map
A massive new leak has dropped details on one of Fortnite‘s most ambitious crossovers yet, revealing that the game will dedicate an entire “mini-season” to Matt Groening’s The Simpsons. Set to follow the current Fortnitemares event, the collaboration is rumored to launch around November 1, 2025, and will feature a complete overhaul of the Battle Royale map, transforming the island into a fully explorable, cartoon-accurate Springfield.
The extensive leaks, which have been circulating widely among prominent data miners, suggest this will be more than just a few cosmetic skins—it’s a temporary world change unlike any seen before.
Welcome to Cel-Shaded Springfield
The most significant detail of the upcoming event is the rumored map transformation. The current Battle Royale island will reportedly be replaced by a map entirely modeled after Springfield, the home of the Simpson family. To match the show’s aesthetic, the entire map will be rendered in a distinct cel-shaded art style, giving players the feeling of dropping directly into the animated series.
Expected Points of Interest (POIs) include iconic locations from the show:
- Springfield Nuclear Power Plant (Homer’s workplace)
- Moe’s Tavern
- Krusty Burger
- Burns Manor
- The in-game Berg gas stations may even be replaced by Kwik-E-Marts.
Homer, Marge, and Mech Suits
The crossover is expected to feature a Battle Pass and Item Shop packed with fan-favorite characters and cosmetics. The core Simpson family, alongside other legendary Springfield residents, are planned to be available as skins:
In addition to the skins, a Kang and Kodos Glider has already been spotted in the game’s files, possibly set as a free quest reward. Players can also anticipate finding Homer’s classic pink sedan as a vehicle skin and seeing the notorious alien duo, Kang and Kodos, potentially appearing in an in-game finale event that wraps up the season.
The Simpsons mini-season is slated to run for approximately one month, serving as the bridge content leading into the game’s next major chapter release.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
