Prime Video Dates Ninja Vs. Gokudo English Dubbed Adaptation
The highly anticipated anime series, Ninja Vs. Gokudo, has unveiled a new key visual and commercial ahead of its premiere. The action-drama, based on the manga by Shinsuke Kondo, is set to debut in Japan on October 8 and will be exclusively streamed worldwide on Prime Video with an English dubbed adaptation.
The show is a brutal and over-the-top story of two ancient forces that have defined human history: the ninja and the yakuza. The manga’s official English publisher, Kodansha USA, describes the series as “a coarse and manly manga” that follows two members of these warring tribes who fill the gutters of modern Tokyo with blood.
The anime is being helmed by director Toshinori Watabe (Naruto Shippuden) and animated by the renowned Studio DEEN. The series composition is handled by Keiichiro Ochi, with character designs by Tokuyuki Matsutake.
Described as a “buddy dynamic” that has the potential to shake up a centuries-old grudge, the series promises a mix of chaos, drama, and intense action.
Synopsis:
Since before the dawn of memory, one thing has defined human history: the war between ninjas and yakuzas. This coarse and manly manga follows two members of these warring tribes who fill the gutters of modern Tokyo with blood to determine which elemental force will reign supreme!
An outrageous new action series, like Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure meets Fist of the North Star!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
