Happy Birthday Simpsons: Hit and Run… Now Where’s Our Remaster?

It’s been 22 years since EA first brought The Simpsons: Hit and Run to North America, yet fans are still dreaming of a remaster. According to Google Keyword Planner, it’s the fifth most requested game in the U.S., with 1,879 searches per month keeping hope alive.

The Simpsons: Hit & Run is a 2003 action-adventure game set in the iconic town of Springfield, featuring the beloved characters from the long-running animated series The Simpsons. The game follows the Simpson family as they uncover a mysterious conspiracy involving surveillance cameras, mind control cola, and alien invaders. With open-world exploration and driving missions, the game is often described as Grand Theft Auto for kids. It was developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Vivendi Universal Games.

The game was originally released on PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and PC and not even a port has been announced as of yet for modern-day consoles.
