OUR TAKE

We’re inching closer to the end of the season, so I suppose now is a fine time to introduce more recurring characters! This week brings us three segments again, though the first and last are actually connected, so I’ll talk about those together. First, let’s talk about the middle segment, which is once again about Keigo trying to keep getting views for his Youtube channel, and this time the solution given to him by Nico is giving him the ol’ Rule 63 and making him a girl to try and get in on that sweet sweet “daily life as a cute girl” money. This naturally takes off right away, and that eventually gets all the other guys involved too, leading to a full cast of bratty roommate girls that the internet learns to love watching, up until Keigo randomly sees a crescent moon and becomes Wolf, whose impulsive nature leads to him flashing the camera and getting the channel a brief spike in attention…and then immediately shut down. So ends another chapter of Keigo chasing internet fame and getting everyone wrapped up in the hijinks. And who knows how many more of these we’ll get with the remaining episodes!

The other two, as I said, are connected, introducing a new supporting character, Rui Fujiki, who is apparently student council president (I guess Miharu goes to a different school than everyone else) and supposedly has the powers of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (who Miharu points out was not an actual person but that’s just kind of ignored). We’ve actually seen Rui in the Opening dancing by himself during the group dance, which made me think he was going to turn out to be some secret villain, but I guess not, unless they pull another Keigo and actually do that! Heck, Keigo kinda already does Jekyll and Hyde anyway, so he’s double redundant. So he’s introduced as an energy juice box for Miharu when Keigo or Morihito aren’t around, and in the third segment of the episode, he finally gets to meet the rest of the cast! After getting the tropey goons of the other Student Council President mixed up with them and getting pulled into a rehearsal to celebrate that guy. So yeah, another fine episode, and we sadly only have four episodes of this left, but I’ll be glad to not have so much to do on Sunday if that helps.

Error happened.
