Family Guy Announces Halloween and Holiday Specials for Hulu
At San Diego Comic-Con 2025, the creators of Family Guy announced that the long-running animated series will be getting a new slate of Halloween and holiday specials exclusively for Hulu.
The first of these holiday specials, a Halloween episode titled “A Little Fright Music,” is scheduled to premiere on Monday, October 6. The episode’s plot will follow Stewie and Brian as they attempt to write a hit Halloween song, inspired by a perceived lack of quality spooky tunes. Simultaneously, Peter and his friends find themselves in trouble after lying about going trick-or-treating.
The other special coming later this year will be for the Christmas holiday and will be known as “Disney’s Hulu’s Family Guy’s Hallmark Channel’s Lifetime’s Unoriginal Holiday Movie”. Not much is known about this one though I did hear a rumor that former Family Guy voice of “Meg” Lacey Chabert was asked to be a part of the special due to her past ties with movies of this nature but I didn’t hear whether or not she agreed to be a part of the special.
In addition to the specials, it was confirmed that Season 24 of Family Guy will premiere on FOX in 2026, with episodes also available for streaming on Hulu.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
