Adult Swim’s New Series Haha, You Clowns Debuts at San Diego Comic-Con 2025
Adult Swim is once again making a splash at San Diego Comic-Con, this year with the debut of its new animated series, Haha, You Clowns. The show, which was picked up from Adult Swim’s popular “Smalls” short series, is the brainchild of animator and creator Joe Cappa.
The show is described as a quarter-hour comedy that follows three sweet-natured brothers and their deeply caring father as they navigate life and bond together after the passing of their mother. Inspired by classic suburban family TV shows, Haha, You Clowns blends heartfelt emotions with surreal comedy.
Fans at San Diego Comic-Con had the opportunity to get an exclusive first look at the new series. A “Series Premiere Preview” panel was held at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, where Joe Cappa and other members of the production team discussed the show, and attendees got to watch a world premiere from the new season. The show’s unique blend of comedy and emotion is a testament to Cappa’s work, whose previous animated short, Ghost Dogs, was a 2021 Sundance Festival Official Selection.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
